SIIA Celebrates Milestone in Staten Island's Maritime Sector, Supporting Local Businesses and Members

May Ship Repair, in collaboration with Hunter Roberts Construction Group (HRCG), has completed the construction of a 140-foot barge, showcasing Staten Island's prowess in marine construction. The barge, constructed at the May Ship Repair Contracting Corp yard, will await the procurement of piles for assembly, demonstrating the island's capability for marine infrastructure projects.

Mohamed Adam, President of May Ship Repair, expressed gratitude for the partnership, stating, "We are thankful for partners like Hunter Roberts Construction Group, who enable us to uphold the legacy of marine construction on Staten Island."
